Well, no surprise, the original order was with smaller 10" screen, and discovered that the Clearsight rearview mirror is now an OPTION - I decided to cancel the order and have the dealer re-order as these are two features that I wanted. So I have no doubt I will be put to the back of the line and will update this thread when I get the new dates from the dealer.

 

My dealer essentially did the same thing. They locked in my original order without confirming with me what the differences would be for a my22 order. Its been over a week now and I still have not been given anything new to sign or agree to....

 

After asking questions of my dealer (which they should have had answers) they sent me this dealer bulletin and asked me not to share. Well, this info was very helpful to me, so hopefully also others here in the US market will find it useful.

Did you consider the new XS model? It has limited color options but the gondwana stone is available. I ordered a Carpathian Grey HSE but the cost savings vs the XS is too much to pass up for me. I lose the preferred color but I also like Silicon silver so I am going to that instead.

XS comes standard with air suspension and clearsight mirror along with a bunch of other interior items. It builds on the HSE and base price is cheaper.

 

I'll need to look into it. The dealer seems clueless. The online build configurator is still the 2021 so hard to see if I can configure to my liking.

 

There key differences are there is no black body cladding, its whatever color you chose. You have limited wheel option selection. Other than that is like an HSE+

 

Order (or I should say specs as explained below) submitted today for MY22 110 SE P400 (with packages/options including the 11.4" Pivi Pro screen) with slated delivery for 7/16/21. Its interesting because the Vista dealer order software tracker shows the build was created and confirmed by my dealer on 3/6/21. This was two weeks before I even started talking to the salesman. So obviously dealers regularly submit orders with generic options, etc. and since they have almost 6 weeks before the "no change" date, they just wait for a buyer, change the specs and make it look like that is their "personal order". I guess its helpful since the order is already in the cue.

I'll update as I know more about tracking.

 

@expatbrit Was your build date met last week? Mine is supposed to be today, so just curious as to whether they were still on track up to last week.
