My 90X is built and I just got the Vin#…..now awaiting shipment/delivery… Order was accepted by JLR in September.
Dealer says early January I should have it.
Just received my VIN today from my dealer. Defender on boat in middle of Atlantic. Should be here mid to late Jan depending on Port of LA issues. Mine isa sim bid to 4x4 Dave's, but I was told I couldn't have the advanced tow package nor the advanced off road package if I wanted the car at all any time soon (aka this century)...I'm stoked anyway. Order a accepted mid September for delivery in December, looks like about a month delay...

Australia also, Ordered May 2021, still no commitment on any form of eta from dealer. best estimate I've been given by land rover of late is best case scenario now seems around April 2022,and thats not really anything official just the employees 'feeling', originally we told maybe November but more like December this year I always felt thats was sales BS at the dealer to get us to sign up so always expected to be up for a wait, but 1 year is getting up there. i assume this is the case Australia wide for defender orders dating back to may, April, march, 2021??
our order was nothing special is just a SE D300 only real option was locking diff and comfort convince pack. no eyesight mirror or sunroof or anything
only real annoyance is the no real clear communication in regards the forced downgrading by been moved into an my23 with an analogue dash vs digital, at the time of purchase we had a dealer demo and we basically said we want this exact car and ordered it, appears we won't be getting that exact car but we're not getting told either way or the other, but from what i read we're most likely getting a pox looking half digital half analogue dash, maybe it looks better in real life vs videos, i hope so, in the end i'll get over it.
I am wondering if the early models that got digital dash, and/or HUD, may be the last, become more desired, and retain a higher resale. And sounds like the advanced off road may be disappearing for awhile as well.
Placed my order on 12/21, still don't have an official factory scheduled build date. Dealer estimated delivery in April/May originally, now they are saying it's looking more like june/july and it will most likely be a 2022 model year. Really excited for the truck, the waiting is painful!
Does anyone know what is changed/new for 2022 models? My dealer said they would forward me the 2022 dealer info sheet once they receive it so I can review/modify my order based on any 2022 configuration changes. I'll share it here if I get anything, he said they expect to get it in march/april. Might be the one benefit of having to wait so long I guess!
Have you received your truck yet? I hoping you have as it might be a good sign for me. I live on the East coast and got an allocation middle of January 2022. I was told by my dealer delivery would be mid July (fingers crossed). I haven't gotten much information from my dealer other than "everything is on track". I see others on this forum getting a flow chart with dates in reference to build completion, shipping, etc. That would be nice. Best of luck with the new truck.

Your dealership should be able to supply you with the build sheet / order details which will include all the delivery schedule dates and details on the truck.
Well I got a build sheet which included order details and all of the specific options. I also got a detailed page of all the options with the specific order codes Although I have never received any delivery schedule dates in writing. Maybe I'm naive after just getting a Tesla order and dealing with little to no info on delivery. I give the a call tomorrow and see.
Hi All, if some one can give me some suggestions or idea. I requested Defender to build on 12.03.2021 then I received allocament date on 4.2022 but since then I have not heard from my dealer. I reached out to dealer but dealer has not return my calls. Is there any site or place, I can call?
