I took delivery of my CE D90 today. What a car! I love the way it looks and drives. The factory satin wrap looks great and I like the contrast of the gloss black hood, roof & tailgate with the rest of the car. A few pics and a video enclosed.

 

Wow! Congratulations- that is just stunning. Love the contrast between the gloss and
matte. My 110 Fuji white 110 X- Dynamic HSE arrives any day now in Msp from Baltimore. It is going straight to a detailer for full PPF - matte on white, clear on gloss and ceramic coating. I love the darker colored Defenders like yours in matte. Have never seen a matte white one so can’t wait. Again, your car looks awesome!

 

Are those flares painted to match or just standard black?

 

Looking good! I have a 110 on order just like this but with the dark satin wheels and spare wheel cover. Are those wheel arches standard or an accessory you specified?

 

Arches are not standard, accessory.

 

Striking looking Defender for sure. I still can't quite get my head around the fact that only the front brake calipers are done in that blue.

 

Please post pics of your matte white when it’s completed!

 

They fixed this for MY23…. Now they are all black

 

Yeah, I've noticed this on the configurator. LR is certainly not at their best when they try to imitate other brands' offerings. It's s if they looked at Porsche's habit of fitting "S" models with red brake calipers and decided they must do something similar. At least the boys in Stuttgart remember to paint all four calipers.

 

I thought it was weird at first but now I see it as a quirk that will be sought after down the road with these. I thought of having the rears painted but I don't think I will anymore.
