If they were consistent… yes. But Land Rover changes stuff to often to make it worth anything. Example on the X… the rear tow hooks were standard black and upgrade for orange… now it’s the flip. So it just confuses people.

They are the regular non painted factory flares. I’m actually going to be removing them to install the Wide Arch kit from Urban Automotive. In fact, I’ve ordered the full Urban kit for my Defender. I’m hoping the parts arrive from the UK sometime soon. Can’t wait to transform this beast!

I’m going to be selling the factory flares if anyone is interested in them.

This is the thread I meant to ask if there was a reason given for the missing V8 badges. Did the dealer say why they aren’t there?

And congratulations. Beautiful truck!

Didn't even notice. Mine better come with it! They'll probably blame it on Covid but really it's poor supply chain management.

It was one of the first thing I noticed (missing V8 badges below the doors).

The dealer could only speculate that they weren’t available at the factory when the car was built. In fact the V8 badges are still not in stock as of today but are due in the UK in about a week. The dealer ordered me a pair ($130 x 2) and will be negotiating with JLR so they aren’t charged for them.
