I have the 2022 Defender 110 P400, X-Dynamic HSE in Hibachi (spelling intentional) Silver. Love it. Only things I don't like are what they left off of my order. Working on adding those back, though.

Did a few mods, some that aren't in these older pics. Plan on changing wheels, calipers & tires in February. Still waffling between the Evo Corse DakarLights, LR Steelies, and Tuffants. The lure of the Tuffants are likely no spacers, Steelies appeal to my old school, Evo's appeal to my "youthful spirit". All will out perform what I want to get into.

EDIT: And the tires are (likely) to be Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 255/70 R18. Though, the wheels & tires are likely to change a few dozen times before I actually buy them!

I got all of that except the t-shirt.

It should actually say "I ordered a Bronco and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" because that would be my kind of funny.

Drives like a fu*king dream. Solid. Fun. Super comfortable.

$60k tops? Lol, the wait would be 3 years.

You know a vehicle is priced right when people complain that the price is high... as they're getting in line to wait 6-15 months+ to pay over the ask.

If you want $60k, buy a Bronco and tell yourself it's better. It's not even close. This is from someone who owns a Defender and also has a Bronco that just got built 2 days ago.
My Bronco order is supposed to get delivered to the dealer this week (4-door Badlands). I already declined and they'll sell it to someone else, so no big deal. The Defender has been great since I got it in early September. I start to get antsy when I haven't had a reason to drive it in a few days (mixed remote work) - just so enjoyable to drive!

My Bronco (4 door Wildtrak with Lux) is scheduled to be built the last week of February, so delivered towards the middle to end of March. I spent some time on and off road in a Bronco at a Ford event. The two take aways were that the Bronco really is an excellent SUV, but it's also easy to see why it's a good 25K or so cheaper than my Defender. My Bronco order was placed right at launch so it predates my Defender. Now I need to figure out what to do when it arrives. My current plan is to keep it, alternate between both, and at some point either decide to keep both or sell one. The most likely outcome, at this time, is to keep the Defender and sell the Bronco but who knows.

I will say this, for all the issues you see on here, my Defender has been virtually flawless. It's not seen the dealership since the day I took delivery. Minor rattle at one point, that's largely gone away. I am very happy with my Defender.

They catch looks around every corner and are conversation pieces at lunch. In a world of boring SUV's, the Defender stands out in the crowd. Other than that, they are junk.
What a ridiculous thing to say. Your comment is the only thing that’s junk.

Surveys and Product Forums always have a "negative bias". Most people fill out surveys if they are upset about something so they lean more negative in their trends. Product Forums usually have a lot of people who casually come on looking for solutions to their problems. Yeah, Defenders have problems. So do EVERY Make/Model. There was already a thread on here of the # of reported warranty claims on a variety of vehicles. It always shocks me that for every 100 vehicles sold, the best of them are in the 120-140 claims until I realize that in some cases there are multiple claims and in many others there are none. I believe the Defender was middling in the pack on actual warranty claims. Maybe bottom/best 60%. Certainly not the worst quartile. The point is there are many people ( @TheMoke , me, etc) who haven't had any problems worthy of having someone at the Dealership deal with them. It's just that this forum typically has more problems discussed. In my book, that's ok. The two things I like about this forum is 1) Seeing other people's Defenders, mods & how they use them in pics and 2) understanding how people deal with those problems, install those mods, etc. so I know how if I need to.
