My original Jan MY21 order; P400 XD SE, Fuji White, Avd OR Cap Pack, Offroad tires, was modified to MY22 with the following order details:
Last Amendment Possible 5/12/21
Build Date 6/11/21
Delivery Date 8/20/21
(I added 11.4 in screen which added 6 weeks)
I contacted my dealer today to add off-road pack (since locking rear diff is not really a free option) and change color to Yulong white (since it's no longer an addl cost). My dealer told me today my original order was accelerated. New amendment date was 3/17, Delivery 6/25.
My dilemma is whether to stick with the original order w/ 6/25 delivery, or add the new options, which will likely delay delivery to Sep-Oct according to dealer. I'm disappointed my dealer didn't contact me about accelerated build date but that's another story. I'm interested in opinions about what to do?

 

It’s clear to me that as JLR get a better understanding of parts availability, the delivery schedules will be brought forward. I think you will not lose much if you make a change now. Get the car you want!!!

 

Looking back a year from now, you will lose the memory of the added wait and will judge your happiness by whether the car is as you desire.

get what u want, the whole value of waiting is customization and fact that you get exactly what u want.

 

I ordered my 90 in March and it was moved into the 2022 year about a week later.
I am in Canada so funds in CAD, it was increased over $2k.

Just wondering if it is confirmed that the paint colours were reduced in cost.
I picked Tasman Blue, but it would be nice if I could get that for free.

 

For the 90 its a no charge upgrade if you are in the higher models. X Dynamic SE and up.

 

Specced my base plus lots of add-ons 110 as a 2022 (compared to the 2021) and the only change I made was to add the larger screen - price went up about $3000 overall

Dealer will confirm my order this week or early next.
