I have a 2023 Defender 110S with P300 power train and 50K on the clock. I've taken it to my dealer every 10K for oil change and whatever other basic things the dealer recommends. I'm getting ready to go in for this service and wondered if there is anything special I should ask for. I recall several threads about changing the differential fluids more often than the factory recommends, for example. My Defender has locking center and rear diffs.
Are there good threads on this topic? Any other suggestions from high mileage owners? I want to keep the car for as long as possible, and don't mind spending more on maintenance today to avoid failure and hassle tomorrow.
Pic is from ski trip to Marquette, Michigan this past weekend.
Yes, I would have the rear differential fluid changed. Transfer case/center diff fluid can usually wait a bit longer. I wouldn't wait much longer than the recommended intervals for the transfer case. You can buy the fluid at the dealer, but FCP Euro sells both. I have done my rear differential at 30k miles, and it was easy. Just remove the drain plug, drain and refill. Even though JLR says the transmission is filled for life, ZF recommends changing the transmission fluid between 50k-75k miles. You can buy the transmission pan/filter on Amazon, and be sure to use ZF Lifeguard 8 fluid. I just hit 50k on mine, and I've already done the oil change, air filter and cabin filter. I am waiting for my friend to get me in so he can do the transmission, transfer case and rear diff service.

Transmission is a scheduled item at 105k miles. I'll do mine at 80k in a week or so. This is more inline with ZF advice.
T-case is also a 105k item (maybe 84K not sure). I did it around the 55k mark with the front and rear diffs.
Info on them in the service thread.
Unless they changed the intervals, this is what JLR recommends per the manual. 63k for the transfer case. JLR always said the transmission is filled for life, but I never noticed that they recommend a change in the manual until today. My old Land Rovers never had the trans fluid in the passport to service.
Thanks @CincyRovers and @GavinC . I had checked my manual, but couldn't remember the folk wisdom on the rear diff. I think I will go ahead and get it done at 50K and hold off on t-case and tranny until the 60K service. Thank you again guys.

PS, nice Tudor GMT Cincy!
You're welcome! I'd definitely do the rear diff first.
And thanks - it's been a fantastic watch. I always take it on my travels. I need to get it serviced, but I think I'll wait until I get back from my trip to Ireland in May. It's held up incredibly well to more abuse than it deserves.
Yes. I could remember all the timings. You’re absolutely correct
interestingly the schedule for the serpentine and fan belts was at 63 and 84k miles respectively has now been bumped to the 105 mark
These service items are so simple to do that it makes sense to be proactive on them. Especially the diva like rear ediff. I’m doing it again soon.
the only service item I’ve not done is replacing the flexible brake lines at 63k. That just seems overkill. Maybe at the 6yr mark. They look fine. Never heard of consumable brake lines before.
All this proactive servicing I like to do may be for naught if the spate of DC/DC software induced failures hits. Really worrying to see what’s happening since the wonderful software update hit.
Literally zero mention of this failure till the recent update. Now it’s everywhere.
Apparently it requires a software meld to the vehicle’s it doesn’t sound like it’s doable by the home grease monkey.

I've literally never seen any car that requires brake lines to be replaced routinely. Usually you just replace them when they need to be replaced.
