Sounds like you're trying to do the same. Definitely the best way to go. Would be easy to do with the LK8 also.

If and when you get them and if you need any pointers I'm happy to share pics and info. Fiddly work but worth the effort. Second sill was much neater and easier than the first. They trim beautifully with a box cutter.
Thanks I would like some pointers if you can. I might just buy new trim pieces as they aren't that expensive. I just don't want to mutilate some new ones trying to trim them to fit.

Thanks. Your truck looks great.
I am going to give it a try with the factory trim. Also looking to get some underbody protection as all the felt covers are gone.
