You still get that crap Alcantara steeringwheel.. ( maybe you can downgrade to leather for FREE)
Anyway I like my Dinamica Interior, they skipped that for MY23 on S & SE trim.
They also skipped the Robustec console finishers for the X Dynamic, now an option same price as the woods
I really wished you can option leather steering wheel on the V8. But unfortunately it Ian it an option. Surprising because you can option alcantra wheel on the other trims. The alcantra wheel alone is making me hesitant to order the V8.
You could just order a leather steering wheel and have it installed after delivery.
I inquired about this and the dealer that had been pretty helpful said the ordered wheel would not have paddle shifters.
He was also not sure they can even order a leather steering wheel. He did suggest getting the wheel re-trimmed in leather. Either way, I was hoping it was an easier process than what I was made to believe.
It seems that the Base/Standard Defender 90 is no longer an option for MY2023......the starting tier seems to be an "S". Nevertheless, there is a base model 110 for MY2023. Not sure I understand why they would drop the Base model 90 which means White Steelies will no longer available for the 90. Anyway, guess I already have a Modern Classic........LOL!
Saw this this morning and not happy. Need a model s or greater P300 to get the signature headlights now, its not an option for the basic 110 P300. I'm fine with the transition to hybrid digital/analog clusters from last year but the price of the 110 is up and once again, air suspension is not standard. $65k for a P300 that starts at 51k and all i want is off road stuff and signature headlights but....packages. Time to reevaluate what to get. I should have pulled trigger on an order when 22' was available.
Spoke with one of my dealers and he said Land Rover is not able to guarantee adaptive cruise control or HUD on orders. Also, they had no idea when V8s will be available to order as JLR currently has a backlog of ~500 MY22 V8s that have not been built. This is due to something with engine availability. In summary, more supply chain issues and inevitable delays.
If I was ordering a Defender, I would definitely want ACC and will not be satisfied if it was on my order sheet, but showed up without it.

Interesting because being able to activate it later on a non-ACC vehicle would suggest that they are changing some of the standard base hardware or is the dealer maybe confused?
