2024 110 X Dynamic SE Tires 19"
Hi all--36k miles on my car as above.
I want to replace OEM Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Seasons with either the same or the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2.
85% of my driving is in city/15% highway; Where i live, the roads can be fairly pot holed. No off road driving. Would you guys switch to Michelin or stick with Pirelli's? My priority would be ride quality and minimizing road noise. Thanks!

In my opinion, Michelin makes better tires than Pirelli. Although I just got out of a brand new Disco Sport with the Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS and found them to be exceptionally quiet for an ultra high-performance all-season. I'd still go with the Michelins, though, considering the Defender isn't exactly a performance SUV.
Another OEM option is the Continental CrossContact RX. I am running a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ ultra high-performance all-seasons on my Macan and they're exceptional. The CrossContact RX is more of an SUV-focused all-season compared to the ones I have on my Macan.
I honestly think the OEM Goodyear Wrangler Adventures might be a good fit for you. Land Rover calls them "off-road tires" but in reality they aren't. They're an all-season with a more aggressive tread pattern. They're quiet (not noticeably louder than a standard all-season), comfortable, and will provide better grip in the snow if that's something you encounter in the winter. Plus, they're cheaper than the Pirellis and Continentals on Tire Rack.
