Hi there. I’ve landed on a Defender v8 as my next vehicle. I was looking for a 110 but local dealer has a 2024 130 v8 spec’d exactly like I want it and they’ve got it significantly discounted.
My question is why does the 130 v8 show as p500 and the 110 v8 shows as p525. Based on my research, it’s the same engine but slightly de-tuned. I have searched and can’t find out why there’s a difference in the engine designation between the 110 and 130 v8 trim.
Essentially I want to make sure I wouldn’t be losing anything by getting the 130 v8 over a 110.
