I believe JLR has decided to make the bottom of the rear seat hinge forward like on the 110 to allow the seat back to fold flat. It also looks like they did raise the floor to make it flat. A definite improvement compared to the original, however, still could have made the seats completely flat with the original floor level as we did with the jump seats would have added so much additional cargo space. I honestly can't imagine how I would use this smaller vehicle without the conversion. I use my vehicle to carry cargo all of the time.
@JFox:
Great conversion! Looks very good!
Where did you get the jump seats?
Did you assemble them on your own?
Turn key kit?
Would be definitely an alternative to the 1/3 - 2/3 version.

I simply asked questions. Have done 0 mods. Looking to purchase 23 or 24.
Great pics - I like the divided seat bench (2/3 + 1/3) which gives me additional value to have a 3rd seat plus extended storage room!
Has anyone of you an idea where to get the separated seats and - if so - are they retrofitable / exchangeable to a D90 MY 23?
thanks 4 sharing any info on this

this is great. If these really fold this way I might consider trading my 22. This is how they should’ve been from the start. I don’t consider taking the bottom seat cushion off when needed as a real solution. That just begs for trouble down the road with broken clips etc. not to mention the seats still don’t lie completely flat.
Hopefully the load space tray will become available early next year.
Sure wish this had existed when I got my 90 two years ago! The tray would help me some but I still cannot fathom why LR wouldn't have made the seats fold this way in the first place. That is my bigger problem. If I lay the rear seatback down, it sits at about a 30 degree angle because you cannot move the bottom seat cushions out of the way (and yes I know you can pop the seat out of the clips and move it, but I'm not doing that and risking breaking those clips.)

Agree on the seats. I looked at the 90 a few years back and the rear was a no go for me. I needed a flat load space for hauling stuff. I guess from a different perspective, I'm happy JLR obviously has taken feedback and fine tuned the interior cargo area on the 90. Shows a company is listening to their customers and albeit it's not great for you... you've also have enjoyed a few years of ownership while mine is yet to be built. I guess that is one advantage of waiting a few years for things to shake out of a new model.
