Removing the Land Rover badge on the tailgate of the Defenders makes no sense at all if they are differentiating the lineup. I say this because they still have the Land Rover badge on the front grille of the Defender. This seems like a cost cutting move to me. Otherwise ALL Land Rover badging would be gone from the Defenders.

I understand what you're saying but how much money could LR possibly be saving? Seems so minor

Well, the X-Dynamic Badge moved twice… first series got it on the doors, second one in the front and MY24 got it just nowhere… what a pity!

Regarding the Land Rover „Plum“, they really try to tell the „Defender is an own brand“ story… for me, this is a massive marketing bulls*** … for why to throw away a glorious heritage, the whole company is build upon? (Might be a different story with Range Rover, but still, at least not for me)…

in the end it’s ridiculous pointless as well for it’s still heavily present in the middle of the wheel that dominates the rear of the car (as long as you are not hiding it by a cover)

i bought one on myself and put it right where Gerry McGovern meant it to be
