I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the 22 Nitto Tires. I wanted to check in and see if anyone has had issues with these tires after having them on the vehicle a while now.
A bit noisy and not great in snow was my experience. But if noise doesn't concern you and if you don't deal with snow you'll probably like them. I switched mine out for Falken Wildpeaks AT3Ws and like them much better.

So, mine were 20s not 22s (I think the Falkens come in the 22 size you mentioned?). Not sure I have any photos with the Falkens, but I could easily snap one today for you. I have many photos with the Nittos on though. I liked the look. But, in the snow (even heavy rain) they didn't feel as good to me as the Falkens which we've run on Grand Cherokees and Rubicons. I know the Falkens are 3 peak rated and the Nittos aren't. In super cold or snow the Nittos felt sketchy to me. Too much sliding around.
I also noticed an immediate reduction in road noise when I switched to the Falkens. Seemed like the Nitto tread blocks kind of slapped the pavement making noticeably more noise.
Thanks, no rush on that. The truck is still new to me.. we picked it up in Dec and I havent even really driven on the 22s much yet. But yeah, considering the 22 size, Im mostly wanting them for looks. So the Falkens being quieter would be nice to have.
We get a lot of snow where I am and I do have a separate set of winter tires/wheels.. but theres always situations where its really cold or a random snowfall and I didnt have time yet to swap the wheels. Even my uncle told me the Ridgegrapplers he has on his Tacoma are sketchy in the snow. Basically same things you said, so Ive been a bit more interested in the Falkens.
I have had these on mine for about 5k miles. They are a little louder yes but I personally feel its worth it. They look 10x's better and perform better in the snow.
