Default 22 Defender X - photo day

I really, really tried to stick with the ordering process but too many things annoyed me about it. I lucked out and scored a new, loaded 2022 X model my local dealer had just put on sale. It was only on sale for two hours before I purchased it. Most other defenders are already spoken for before they even arrive at the dealership.
I am coming from a Tesla model S, this thing is an absolute beast to drive and I love it. I took it on a scenic tour today and made sure to bring my camera.

I love the look of those classic mudflaps on a black Defender. Too bad I'd rip them off on a trail within an hour or I'd have some too. Hurry up and get rid of those minivan tires.

Indeed that is the first thing on the list, still doing tire research though. It will mainly be for surviving snowy mountain passes and rough roads.
I like grippy tires but I also enjoy smooth and quiet rides. Any suggestions appreciated!

Looks fantastic! Congratulations. Any idea why it didn’t come with V8 badges?

The X comes with Inline 6 and red calipers on all 4 wheels.

Great looking X! Congrats!

Did you have to pay over MSRP?

Thanks!
Yes unfortunately, however my trade-in also had my own “markup” which ended up evening it all out.
