I had received the same email but now just received another with "corrected" in the subject line...

They've removed "in our pipeline" from the second paragraph so now it's just no price increases on current inventory.

That makes sense. It's likely still an unknown. Found this for Range Rovers and UK comments regarding Defenders (I realize the mostly Euro forum). Both not in the buyer's favor. Will have to see what happens later this week.

I do too. Consumers, and all corporations need clarity on this once and for all. The markets definitely do not like uncertainty as we have seen during this first quarter.

I was a bit surprised by the "in the pipeline" comment, not surprised they edited it out.

Best wishes to everyone getting ready to buy or one in transit... am hoping this is posturing and will be resolved soon.

No news from dealers yet. You can expect the prices of Defenders to go up by at least 10 percent if not the full 20 percent tariff announced for the EU. Dealers will more than likely sell their current inventories at the existing prices of those cars and I am guessing they would not be discounting prices of their current inventories.

I agree, I just wonder what tariff will be applied to JLR. Defenders are built in EU but JLR headquarters are in UK. JLR is owned by Tata motors which is a indian company.

Typically based on country of origin, so, Slovakia. To be seen how transfer pricing may come into play.
