After a move, with all sorts of god knows what in Defender (fantastic vehicle to use in a move), I realized the pass rear headrest will no longer fold down. It’s stuck approx 20% “folded” and won’t move in either direction. That’s not going to fly for my woods trips where I need to flip the headrest down to fold that seat down.

Well I figured out how to remove the “unremovable” headrest following the instructions of this video with a butter knife
But now I’ve got it out. How do I fix this button. It depresses, just nothing happens. I could not find a way to remove the button to see if it’s broken inside.

I guess I could buy a salvage headrest but matching the leather on my X etc seems like a waste
