Default Accessory Install Pricing - Lease question?

Im about to take delivery of a 2022 110. I was planning on adding the fender protection and classic flaps. The dealer is charging:
Parts:
Flares - 800
Flaps - 250 for both sets

Labor:
Flares - 720
Flaps- 720

For those who have installed them, is it worth doing it myself and spare the 1500? Its certainly seeming so.

Finally, wouldn't those need to come off at the end of the lease?

You can find the wheel arch protection online for cheaper. For example https://landroversacramento.niello.c...&page_number=2

I was going to install the classic flaps myself but Have decided to let the dealer do it. I was quoted $435 for labor of both front and rear.

You can buy the mud flaps from the dealer I linked above as well. I think you still save some with shipping.

In the improbable event that they actually notice, they almost certainly won't care.

My ‘22 110 came with flares but not the mud flaps.

I installed the classic mud flaps to spec last week and it’s actually a fairly easy job, drilling etc., but everything else mounting and tightening was a huge PITA. If I was to do it again, I would pay to have it done. $720 sounds high for the flaps, I think I’ve seen $560 or so posted before.

Also note, if you do install yourself and remove the front lower fender molding the top two clips are made to break and you’ll need to order 4 to have one hand. Two for each side. It’s impossible not to break them. The lower clips are mounted in the opposite direction and will come right out. I picked them up locally before I started the job.

It all depends on how you value your time. PowerfulUk has done videos on both of them. Whatever his time is, double it. Then ask yourself if you want to do that. For those two things, yeah I'd do it. But not sure how much you want to crawl around on a garage floor for a few hours. Now if you were going to ask if I'd be willing to spend a 8-10 weekends installing a winch, I'm a wuss. I raise a pint and a nod of deep respect to those who have done that.

i did the flares myself and it was a pretty easy install. i read and viewed all the instructions for the flaps and decided i wasn’t up to the job. lots of drilling, working upside down etc.

i paid 500 to install the flaps at a local mechanic. this was for 4. took him almost half the day
