Accessory Pricing and Installation
For the wheel arch protection, you can 100% do that yourself! I would not recommend paying for installation there it's just a waste of money. Just make sure you line up the front with the bumper before adhering and you'll be good to go. Half of the time I'm at a dealer and looking at their installs what I did on my own looks better anyway.

I think the basic question is if I can order a la carte accessories (not full "Packs") at the price in the LR catalogue for installation at the port? Or do a la carte accessories have to be ordered through the parts department of the dealer and be installed by them?

According to the GM at the dealership who’s been there for 20+yrs, it’s done at the port because the risk of damage to the wrap is too great when it’s done at the factory 🤷♂️…makes sense to me but I’ve also read here that it’s at the factory.
The Explorer pack I ordered was also supposed to be installed at the port and the reason why my truck was stuck there so long (over a week+), until they finally released the truck w/o the package to avoid further delay.

https://www.channel4.com/programmes/...mand/71739-004 While you'd need a VPN to watch (or uhhh so I've been told...) Channel 4 (a UK channel) showed a Defender being built and there is a segment where they apply the wrap at the factory. Perhaps there could be a difference of where it's applied based on the end destination country but it didn't seem like it.
So, the trick is to order these things when you order your vehicle, and they get installed at the port?
Two things that I want on my 90S (Carpathian Grey) is Narvik Black / satin front and rear skid plates. You get there adding $500 to the Black (appearance) package for $650 and two $250 parts, I assume. The Advanced black package with those is $1150 on other trims. I do see $1310 for "Extended black package" which includes the loadspace trim piece if you have a bright one.
Qurstion: I don't care for the factory A Frame "cattle catcher". Seems all show and no true protection. I know that I have seen a real rollbar type front grill protector, but I have not been able to find it.
