Adaptive Cruise with GAP IID?

You can lift the vehicle using the tool. Simply tell the air suspension to change it's standard height. Up or down as needed. Affects all the height settings. Just like having a lift rod.
A rod changes the hardware and leaves the software unchanged.

The beauty of the latter is that you can turn it on and off as needed using your phone. Just a few few quick clicks. Perfect for the likes of me who does not want to use rods for a variety of reasons and would only need a lift on rare occasions when I encounter a big obstacle.
Similar to LLAMS but without any installation or additional cost. That's what sold me on it.
You can also use it if you want to lower the Defender. Perfect for those who'vesustained a cognitive brain injury challenges fitting in a garage..

Thank you. I'm one of the people who apparently sustained cognitive brain injury, as I lowered the vehicle by 20mm thinking I would get a better handling car on the freeway and on the twisty bits. Fortunately, the brain injury is reversible in my case; the car rode much worse while driving it on a 4 hour drive. Changed it back to stock the following day to continue the journey.
Just with a turn of the selector **** lower it for less body roll, more sporty drive, preferable on good smooth tarmac .
I do use it frequently.

As an alternative to waiting for the Gap IIDTool to enable activation of ACC, I’ve been researching the cost, components, and techniques needed to do the same via the JLR Pathfinder app.
if you either have experience with this alternative method and are willing to share information with the community or are interested to see if it might be a cost effective DIY option to activate ACC and other features, see this thread:
