Adaptive cruise in traffic?
ACC drives like you gave a 12 year old the keys and let him tackle rush hour for his inaugural drive.
Can anyone who has done the dealer calibration explain what that entails, and review your before/after experience for us?

Calibration is exactly how it sounds. They recalibrate the sensors and camera to factory settings (usually needs to be done after a windshield replacement). Since mine was activated, it was never calibrated from the factory, and it made a huge difference. It got about 80% better. Still not the best ACC on the market by any means, but it is significantly better.
Thanks for the replies. I used the Gap tool to activate my ACC, so it sounds like the next time I’m at the dealer for some service I should ask them to calibrate it for smoother operation.
Im curious what if anything the dealer would do.
I'm skeptical mine could do anything.
Gap tool may be able to tweak things perhaps.
Edit: Found the ACC tweaking process in the shop manual. Seems like a doable process with GAP and a road test. Not something I'd fancy tackling. Likely I'd mess it up.
