Yes! It is the most annoying aspect of setting off in the truck. It was the same for my RS6 and I solved it as my #1 mod. I added an aftermarket module that enabled the current state of the Auto on//off switch to be retained. It's bliss!!!

100%. I despise this. I program it off on all of my cars. Personally, i find it dangerous as it stops the car from engaging quickly when pulling into traffic.

I'm in for a northeast group buy. I'm just north of Philly, so pretty easy to get to the NYC area, although I do have some work travel that might conflict with the dates the group picks.

23.5 110 P300 on coils here.

The one I'm looking for is the advanced off road pack; I was able to get the locking rear diff with my P300 on coils, but you can't get the advanced off road pack unless you order the air suspension. But a few of the other appeal to me too.

Question for markjlr: can you cherry-pick the options you want? Or are you blasting all of the updates you mention as a package?

Thanks,
Mike

Ditto. I had a 2015 911 GTS and that was the last year without it. I was so smug. Then I got a 2016 GT4; thankfully the Porsche GT-Division cars (strangely the GTS is not out of the GT Division, only GT-Number cars) don't have A/S/S, but they still bowed before the EPA gods and gave it a hard-reset to non-Sport mode with every restart, so I'd have to push the Sport button every time. Not a biggie to those of you with normal fingers, but I have really, really lazy fingers that resist extraneous button pushes, so I dropped 200 clams on a plug-in module that saves every "last setting" on all the console buttons. That's the best solution because if you do want to have it in a different mode for some reason you can just push the button and it will stay in that mode till you push it again, rather than reset at every ignition restart. (The module also saves the A/S/S setting if you have one.)

Correct. 1k. If you pick 1 options or 20 options. And I will stop you if you try to pick an option that doesn't work on your vehicle like stop start on a p400.

Mark, do you know if all models including base has the hardware for Adaptive Cruise, and only software is needed?

Yes every defender has the hardware for adaptive cruise control. It just needs me to enable the software.
