I've followed all the instructions -- connected a trailer, made a profile, calibrated etc but no matter what I do the icon below terrain assist never lights up, and the trailer icon with the steering wheel never appears on the screen.

Have I missed a step?

 

Assuming you purchased the option, these should be the necessary steps:To enable advanced tow assist:

1. Touch the tow assist icon.

2. Select the appropriate profile for the connected trailer.

The tow assist icon displays on the touchscreen passenger side bar once a trailer profile is selected.



Select Reverse (R).

To activate advanced tow assist:

1. Touch the advanced tow assist icon on the touchscreen.

2. Select START.

An advanced tow assist icon on the front control panel now illuminates. The driver's side rotary climate control can now be used to control the path of the trailer when reversing.



Note: Press and hold the driver's side rotary climate control for approximately a second to align the trailer straight in relation to the vehicle.

 

After some searching it seems I probably don't have the Advanced Tow Assist as I have the ATPC and Configurable Terrain Response. It seems in the UK market, they are mutually exclusive and can't be combined with Advanced Tow Assist. I didn't understand that during ordering, as they are almost identical in description and you can't select both.

Oh well... Guess I'll have to keep backing my trailer into things!
