Our discovery 5 2018 does not have the advanced tow assist (ATA) package but it does ask whether we have connected a trailer when one is connected. It has the tow package.
Our camera system also seems to have the 360 overview but you need to manually select it.
My question is.............

If we get the 3-dot trailer target sticker and go through the steps asked on screen, will the Trailer camera work as per ATA (i.e. when trailer selected it shows trend lines of direction of trailer when reversing) but requiring normal steering wheel corrections rather than steering through the ****?

Update. From what I have read, you can use Tow Assist as long as you have the trailer target stickers (Camera will show trailer movements) even if you do not have Advanced Tow assist (ATA. i.e. use the terrain **** to steer the vehicle).
