Default Air Suspension Inquiry

Question for those experts out on the forum. I have a 2022 Defender 110 that has air suspension but does not have the height adjust feature. Basically it’s a fixed setting like coils. No buttons or options on the Pivi screen to make adjustments. Does anyone know if there is an option to add some type of aftermarket height adjust or potentially turn that ability on with GAP tool? Thanks for the feedback.

Air suspension cars have buttons next to the shifter and in the cargo area for height adjustment. There is no such thing as air suspension without height adjustment. While you can adjust the air suspension using the Pivi screen on other models like the Discovery and the Range Rover (they don’t have physical buttons for height adjustment), you cannot on the Defender. If you don’t have the buttons circled below, then you’re on coils, not air. There is no such thing as an air suspension without height adjustment.

Yeah you’re correct. I went back and relooked and it is a coil system. Thanks for the feedback.

Just curious as to why you are removing your air suspension @sarek

Appreciate the offer. As much as I would love the features that come with air, I think retrofitting that on to my vehicle would be too big a project for me. I might just look at adding a 2” lift with springs or spacers since that was my overall goal.
