Default Allocations for the P300?

Hello all. I am about to place an order for the P300. But I keep hearing that they are not building that anytime soon or is delayed over a year. Did anyone get a confirmation of their P300 order recently/Get an allocation for a P300? I am curious if dealers will get any allocation in November or December.

I can stretch the budget to a P400, but I rather save the $10k.

Thank you.

I placed a order with a dealer in May and I'm still waiting for an allocation for an S-trim P300. I'm about ready to find a used one which seem to be around in New England. BTW I ordered my Bronco in July 2020 and just got it December 2021!

This is what I am worried about. Spend the extra cash on the V6 or wait a year or more for the 4 cylinder. Im not sure if they just allocate a smaller percentage to the P300 or the demand is greater...

This is not fact just my thoughts. Currently LR is pretty much selling every defender they build immediately. Higher priced rigs bring in more profit. They will continue putting most of their allocations towards the P400 until that changes.

Could be location dependent as I placed my order in July and have been told to expect my P300 S in the second week of December

I placed my order (P300 90 S) end of July. Allocation opened August 11. Delivery is estimated Dec 10.

This is good news. Ok, I think I will stick with the P300!

Default Location and engine

I am in Fairfield County CT. Both of my local dealers had allocations within 1-2 weeks of my placing my deposit.

re P300 v P400- I drove both. Didn't see a big enough benefit to the bigger engine relative to the cost. I found that the P300 was more than adequate.
