Looks like dealers are getting more stock. A bit of a discount should be coming soon.....hopefully.

Is that for a 2020MY or 2021MY?

my dealership has the 1k allowance credit advertised on their website now (expires 01/06/21)

I am scheduled to take delivery for my 2021 on Jan 1st. I will try asking if it can apply to my purchase

Interesting 1.9%. Anyone done better than that? Thanks for posting!

I bought my Green SE with cold pack and some other small things in the interior from a dealer in VA, USA.
I saw a video on YouTube and that guy was recommending to ask for a 8% discount off msrp on LR cars. So I did. After a few attempts I found one dealer who was willing to budge and gave me a 8% off msrp.
I think it might be possible to get a better deal at year end though I m not sure if Corona related inventory issues will be a factor.
Thanks, saravs

care to share dealer/ reps info? For 8%, I’ll have it shipped.

I got my wife’s 2020 dealer stock and they were going to work with me a little ~maybe 1500 off a sticker of almost 74k but the truck we found and wanted was in New York and so they had to trailer it up to mass and send another truck as swap down to NY so that wiped out the dollars off sticker, but I did get the 1k credit and they bumped my trade in by about 1500$.

theyre still moving them but there’s definitely inventory. And some friends I have who work for jlr corporate said that people are working full time to reduce shortages and meet demand but that they expect demand to drop around the holidays and the production to not slow in line with demand drop resulting in a glut in early 2021. So you might find some sweet deals when there are too many trucks on the lot in early 2021 if you’re not quite ready to pull the trigger just yet.

I got 2.24% through Bank of America.

I’m hoping for increased 2020.5 for rest of month equates to some discounts. Would like to but before year end if possible. I’m in RI and am searching down to NJ and into ME( NH won’t sell outside of market).
I found similar w BoA- good rates w them!

funny... hadn't seen that video... was able to get a Disco 5 recently and the numbers I gave them worked out to 9% off and they didn't flinch. I expected them to fight back at least a little since they had 0% running this summer. I wouldn't expect to get 8% off a Defender regardless of financing percentage but it seems my thinking was wrong lol. Good work and congratulations 👏
