Any body have or use or recommend a car cover?
A farm and ranch store will have something, just ask them. Spray around the carport. If that doesnt work, you can live trap them. If that doesnt work, get a dog. If that doesnt work...you know what to do. Me? I wouldnt worry about it after spraying the area with repellant. Truck's going to get scratches. I happen to live somewhere where stray cats don't get too comfortable after dark. Alot of predators.
Thanks for the advice but I'll pass. We used to have a real problem with roof rats due to the fruit trees in old neighborhoods in Phoenix but the cats take care of it. I'm sure it will get scratches but up on the hood aren't the same so I'm looking to see if anyone has experience with car covers.
Then this is what you want. You can configure it for roof racks, side ladders, etc, etc.

my two cents, skip the cover and get the truck PPFd and ceramic coated. yes, i know that's way more expensive than a simple car cover, BUT, my experience with covers is that unless you put them on a perfectly clean car, you end up with swirls and micro scratches from the dust and dirt that gets stuck between the car and the cover. plus, after a while you inevitably stop using them because you're either in a rush or just don't want to deal with them. anyway, a good wrap and ceramic coat will protect the paint and also makes routine washing/cleaning much easier. good luck.
