What's up everyone,
I have a 2021 Defender X-Dynamic HSE and I'm looking for anyone in AZ, preferably Tucson area, who has a G4 IID tool. I'd like to unlock the dynamic mode and make a few other changes to my Defender and would pay for the service. Let me know if anyone is game.

 

FYI - they would need the multi-vin version which is pretty expensive and not many people buy it.

It is worth owning the tool for yourself. It's handy for many things. Check engine light can be cleared without a dealer visit for instance.

 

Get the G4 yourself. Activate everything you want in the comfort of your own home and for a lot less $$

It's very easy to do. All the instructions are listed in the link in my sig.

Plus you'll have the tool for the host of other useful features it confers.

You can activate additional VINs for a cost. That still might be worth looking into. But do get your own. It's a good tool to have.

 

I didn't know that would be an option, but I guess it makes sense to buy one. I'm gonna check out the forum and maybe some other places to see if I can't scoop one used.

 

You can almost surely find the G3 version used because the first G4 units went to the early adopters during March. They just made the G4 available to people who didn't already have a G3.
