Has anyone bought and installed the waterproof seat covers ( VPLES0560 ) on a 2020+ Defender? I generally get a set of these for my Rovers as it means I can not worry about seats after the river, or woods/etc. Here's why I ask: I have an X & the headrest is the larger kind that's a bit thicker front to rear than the standard one. Mine:
Many other Defenders including the one in the seat cover photos:
And the parts dep't at the dealer says there is no difference in headrests, which is... untrue. Does the headrest cover fit both types of headrest?
HA! Well I figured it out so posting here for others that may be interested. The covers come with 2 diff headrest covers in the set... I found the instructions online for installing them.
It's true: the covers come with two sets of headrest sizes. I installed these on day one and have been using them for the past year. Not the best looking things in the world, but they do the job. One minor thing: neither pair had a velcro closure to wrap underneath the headrest like shown in the instructions, just an elastic band to keep things tight. And just in case, they are compatible with the jump seat -- they just don't cover the jump seat (if anyone was wondering).
