Question Anyone have the smaller OEM mudflaps?

Hi all,

I really don't want to put mudflaps on but at the same time I want to protect the sides and rockers. Not a fan of the larger classic OEM flaps, just too big for my taste. If any of you have the smaller OEM flaps on, do they keep the sides cleaner?

Thanks a bunch

I have some photos toward the bottom of my post on this thread ---> here

I installed them myself (not hard) after watching one of Powerful UK install videos. And I have found that they do make a moderate difference when it comes to not throwing street debris up on the sides of the car and protecting the lower plastic trim.

Thanks so much drcoop,

They look decent, not too obtrusive. So if I am not mistaken, on the front flaps you need to drill two holes through the lower plastic trim, right? But not through any sheet metal whatsoever?

No sheet metal. Plastic parts can be replaced. Rear and front.

I'm glad I got the classic mudflaps. the whole windows front to back was clear of water and dirt after driving it in the rain.

Without even asking, I'm sure the large classic mud flaps do a great job based on their shear size alone, and thats why I am not liking the classics, they are just too large. My point on this thread was to inquire how well the smaller Land Rover mud flaps do in comparison to the larger classics.

I hope someone is willing to give you that perspective, and you're welcome for bumping your thread back to the top of the page.

I have a 2023 on order and was wondering the same question so glad this popped up. I get the look of the "classic" mud flaps but agree just too bulky for my tastes but am surprised that I couldn't find any pictures of the "modern" mud flaps anywhere online. There are the stock photos for ordering but I'd love to see photos of them from the full profile side view of the car. Most of the few pics I've seen are close up which don't tell me much too how they "fit" the overall profile of the vehicle so following this thread to see if there are any other pics out there. I've searched at length and they just must not be that popular.
