I've been lurking for a bit and searching reading what I can find. So seems like a big snafu for 21/22 orders. I stopped in local dealer yesterday and they had one P525 on lot but used and marked up like crazy. I asked about ordering they said Land Rover is no longer allowing ordering of the 22 or 23 V8 models. Has anyone had any luck finding an allocation for a 2023? I see the build configurator is at 2023 so would assume orders for that model can't be all sold out already???

I order with BMW often and they are always so transparent about ordering allocation etc so I was a bit taken back they just out right refused to do anything but tell me no. I am in no rush but would like to get one on order soon enough to maybe get it by end of year, not sure if that isn't a realistic plan with a Defender order?

 

I locked by order for a 23 MY D90X with the following dates:
created- 12/21/21
confirmed- 1/14/22 (made some changes to it but they were small)
last date for change- 1/26/22
commit to build- 2/3/22
built- 2/22/22
build market distribution- 2/23/22
at retailer- 4/8 (this is three weeks earlier than projected )

I can't speak for how new orders are going....

Yeah we want one without doubt ready to put deposit down but so far here in AZ no dealer has allocations is what I'm being told.... Going out of state is an option for me "Any state" but the ones I've called also say no more allocation, been a busy morning for me on the phone. It just seems strange to me unless they didn't open any actual 23 allocations to dealers yet. I've been probing high volume from what I can find details on. Frustrating haha. We are looking at a Base V8 or P525 with just a couple options like black pack and wheels...

I got confirmation for a 110 V8 about 2 weeks back and put down my deposit. I was on the wait list since Feb this year after talking with both local dealers and deciding to stick with one that actually returned my calls and emails. Current delivery is expected in October. The situation was a bit odd as I was unable to change anything from my original spec submission back from February even though the options for 23 model have changed, including the roof rails being a new option on the V8.

 

I also want to know if anyone seeing 2023 allocations and for that, I am looking for the information online. I am thankful to all of you for clearing my mind. Are we talking Range Rovers or Defenders here? I'm seeing terms like 'P525' and 'Autobiography'. I ordered a 2023 Defender 110 on 12/26/2022 with a Last Amendment date of 4/12/2023, Build date of 05/19/2023 and Delivery Date of 07/21/2023.
