Finished up the install of an ARB Dual Compressor with an external air coupling (sorry for the typo in the thread title...ugh).
It is wired to the Switch-Pros SP9100 switch panel. Also, I added a ground bus bar to the Switch-Pros under hood bracket for future accessory installations.
I used the ARB Remote Hose Coupling Kit attached to a Jeep bracket (had to drill out the hole to match the quick connect coupling) to the ditch light bracket using a 1.5 meter ARB stainless braded reinforced hose connected the the ARB quick connect coupling from the ARB remote hose coupling kit.
Nice front install ! Good job.

Mine was the first in the rear outside the car.
That's a great location as well, I debated on if I wanted a rear or front, but ended up with the front. I also was going to put it next to the gas cap where the DEF fill port would be if I had a diesel, but the rubber is too flimsy to mount a air coupler. I will add a air tank eventually so I can run air tools...just trying to figure out where to mount it.
Awesome work, @GCSchmidt !! One quick question for you. I have a big-arsed shut off for my winch below where your compressor was mounted. Being a bit on the lazy side, I really don't want to move it. Is there room under the compressor to reach in if you needed to? It looks like it sits high and aft of the washer fluid. I'm figuring I may just have to buy the Saltek bracket to be sure, but I'd prefer knowing if I have to move the switch before the investment.
BTW - Fantastic set of links! Do you have one for your braided air hose? Did you create the setup yourself or did you have one you recommend?

Tons of room under the compressor, you should be able to reach under it, see picture below (I have huge hands and I can reach under it...I'm 6'8" 240lbs). I am planning on mounting the ARB 4L air tank under there...eventually. I do have the P300, should be the same for the P400.
Thanks! Ordering the Saltek bracket now... I'll look at the hoses. I've sent my sliders to get them Line-X'd and when I'm under there, I'll decide whether to route towards the back, to the ditch lights or somewhere else.

You'll love how the Line-X looks and holds up on the sliders, mine have taken a beating and still look good.
@GCSchmidt - The install location under the hood with the external hose quick-connect looks fantastic. So convenient and I've seriously considered it myself. I don't want to rain on your parade, however what stopped me doing the same (and this goes for the rear tub install location as well, I have the MHEV) is the heat that is generated in the engine bay and by the compressor itself. With lithium ion batteries, placing another heat generating compressor in the tub was not an option.
Cooler air significantly improves air-up time per tyre and for this reason a portable unit beside the vehicle will always perform better. I like the idea of an onboard air compressor that is tucked away. But I also thinks it's a good idea to open the hood and inspect the engine bay or just release the heat when airing up, especially after a long run on soft sand.
There is another option to hide that same compressor model under the spare, but that creates other issues with air quality.

I appreciate your opinion and agree. But for my needs this mounting location works perfect. I air-up/down very infrequently for the trails that I do here in the northeast USA. I was thinking about putting it in the rear tub as well, but I carry a lot of gear in there and didn't want to lose any storage space, plus the compressor is noisy and didn't want it in the cab. I did look at the spare mount and didn't like it being exposed to weather, we get pretty harsh winters here. The 100% duty cycle and 6.16 CFM specs of the air compressor and the fact I'm only airing up 33" tires (tyres for you EU folks...lol) had me ok with the added heat of the engine bay mount that may reduce the air-up times.
