Hey all,
My gently used ‘20 110 came equipped with auto dimming headlamps, but I cannot figure out how to make them operate.
I watched the tutorial by powerfuluk.com on this topic, and followed their instructions, but I’m not getting the auto dim/high beam functionality.
Any tips/pointers??

It seems that feature is not activated for your car. On the lower spec models (base model and S I believe) auto high beam was an optional extra that you had to specify in the order form and pay extra for. However, all Defenders are equipped with headlamps and software to enable this function, it has simply not been turned on from the factory. I have a 2022 base model where this feature was missing, but I have since had it activated through LR Retrofits here in the UK. There are people offering similar services in the US who can be found on this forum.

 

There are lots of functions hidden away on these cars dependent on model, there’s a tool being developed to help owners amend their CCF file and turn on and options available. Interesting read here:
