dealer called me with the availability. too much work to get rid of my current V8

they want 20k over Msrp which is 118k

it will be gone by end of the week. they usually call me first. Had a buddy looking for a 007 but everyone wanted way too much so passed the info over.

they are not having trouble selling it. buyer that orders it is super wealthy and doesn’t have that time to come get it. went back for sale today

i thought i wanted a 007 but realized i just wanted a v8. not enough differences to justify the price tag on the 007. it’s literally the same car with a couple badges


atleast the carpathian edition has some design differences and the matte ppf. getting the ppf done aftermarket is atleast 5k.

 

LoL at people paying these prices if: a) the price of gasoline goes up to $5.00 or more or b) production constraints are finally worked out and inventories normalize. Have fun losing $50,000 on a stupid Defender in 2 years.

 

well we lucky Californias are peeking $6 a gallon already. those that have the ability to buy a v8 kind of know what we are getting into

Paying over MSRP is very stupid and makes no sense to me, it's just a waiting game (same goes for watches, etc.)

Agree on price sensitivity, I have a V8 and could care less about the price of gas. If anything I'd be more concerned about my boat this summer.
