Default Basic TPMS question - how to tell

This is a basic question. How to tell if wheels have TPMS sensors in them? I'm buying a set of new take offs from a 2022 - from someone's widow who has no idea if sensors are in there or not.

-- At some point after 2020, there was a running JLR change on TPMS sensors.
-- Old style sensors, which my 2020 has, have metal stem, silver, easy to spot. They changed to rubber stems afterwards.
-- So, if I am looking at a set of wheels, how can I visually spot whether or not there are still TPMS sensors in the set of wheels?

(ps - I won't have access to any scan tool or whatever might read what's in there like a tire shop)

If they are new takoffs and are a rim/tire combo I think you could assume that they have the factory TPMS installed. Sounds like you already know these would have rubber stems so they are the newer style. TPMS sensors are relatively cheap to replace so if they aren't there, adding them wouldn't be terrible.

This information can be found out by the manufacturer's VIN code.
