Default Best offroad light bars - spring 2023

Not trying to start a mess, but the forum contains all sort of information about various lights and vendors, but a recent recap is not something that I can find.

The big guys like Black Oak and Baja have great stuff, but at a price. Where is the happy median as far as quality vice cost vice performance?

A quick search on Amazon comes up with all sorts of nearly bizarre claims of "788 watt" LED lights, for example. Not that watts really make a difference, but lumens (usable versus available would be nice!) should.

Feel free to post "light up the night" shots, because we all know the best of these turn night into day. Who's got one of those new laser lightbars that comes in just short of $6k?

I am using Rigid lights on my defender. The pod lights I have owned for about 10 years and still look great. They are not cheap but very good. The defender is in surgery as we text getting it all installed. There are two more lights that were ordered by the installer a 30 inch one and a 10 inch amber one.

Rigid is up there in the top tier makers, price-wise for sure. Great lights, like KC and similar.

What I am looking for is the balance between price and performance...

Default Try Stedi

Stedi lights have a good reputation in Australia. I got two mounts from them and are very good quality.

Rigid lights resold in Australia, right? Interesting! Which roo bar did you use?

Default Too bar

I don’t live in Australia. We live in the United States, sunny Florida. The ditch lights on my defender are 14 years old and still going strong so that is why I went with Rigid again. I had the Roo bar imported from South Africa because I believe defender mods are too expensive. It is the factory one from Australia and South Africa. The installer told me yesterday that the instructions are one of the best he has ever used. If you need any more information please let me know.
