Guys, I might be too late to ask. I have been looking for a beater of best roof rack for 2022 Defender 90. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

 

Google.. read every post from page 35 down…. Google some More. Then you will get like 10 different answers to your question from 10 different people.

 

It depends on how you are going to use it. If just to look cool than get the OEM one but if you intend to use the rack to carry fuel,water, propane, and maybe recovery gear get the front runner it has better space utilization in my opinion. This is mine and see how there is space that can be used but the cross bars can only move and an inch or two tops in ether direction.

 

If I had to get a new rack I would get the front runner one on my second go around. Everything on my rack is from front runner anyway so it would just work better. Hope this helps and good luck.

 

If you go Front Runner - major warning: there are different sizes depending on which mounting access you order. Make sure that it is the size (footprint) you want or you may find what you get is shorter than you imagined.
