Hello,
Need some help on fitting bigger tires for a 2022 Denfender 110S stock without lift rods. I have the 18 dark satin grey wheels. Planning to get the BFG KO2s. Will 285/65/18 fit without rubbing? Ive seen some people fit 275/65/18 and 265/70/18 with no issues as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I am using 275/65
A/T G015 tires on Terrafirma 18" steelies. Tires rub very slightly at access height, but have never rubbed when in Normal height. I would not go any larger without lift rods.
NOTES:
1. I also had to use 30mm spacers to get the wheels to work with the P300 brake calipers. (wheels and spacers from Lucky8)
2. if using the Geolander tires, you will need the 10-ply version to meet the load rating.
anyone on coils (and 18's) with bigger tires? looks like coils sit higher than the "normal" setting on air-equipped defenders. 265/70's (32.6") look like they'd fit. but I've been eyeing 275/70's (33.1")

I have a set of 275/70-18s from Kenda in the Klever RT601 model. Mounted on OEM steelies. These are my off-road setup -- I use the 20" OEM wheel/tire setup for almost all my driving.
The 275s require lift rods (I have 1.5s, not sure if 1.0s would work or not). And because of the rear brakes I have to run 30mm spacers also. There is a little bit of rubbing. I wish I had 265/70s, or even 255/70s instead.
Just a quick picture post as I am gearing up to place my 22’s into a winter storage mode. My brother-in-law custom built this rack for me to hold the rims and tires. Please forgive the mess.
I am also looking for a recommendation for a moderately priced lift for the entire car (hydraulic) that will get her a few inches off the ground just to change the tires out or maybe inspect the bottom from time to time.
There's a thread over here that has been covering where to lift the Defender, ways to do it quickly for winter/summer tire changes, and some good jacks (none of them are cheap, however). Good luck: https://landroverforums.com/forum/20...stands-105963/
