If nothing is real then neither is your response. The mud flaps are not flexible?
Clown.
If you need me to be a clown in your story, okay. The large flaps are... very flappy and flexible. The small flaps are much stiffer but still a little flexible.
We've seen TPO painted before. It works.

Mildly. If you've ever picked up a bumper cover for a car, it's the same material but these are a bit thicker. It really won't bend much at all once installed. The right paint will be flexible enough like when they paint rubber weather-stripping on a garage door with latex.
The problem I'm running into is that the quotes to paint have been very high because it's such a small job and I've just been too busy to chase after it.
When you just gave up and bought the pre-finished lower trim, that's definitely the right move.
Looks great!
Mine is in the shop as we speak.. except it's literally the opposite. My 110 is all black, and the bumpers are getting painted Shadow Atlas grey (almost same shade as your matte gray).
Should look like this when complete (except this is a 90)

We could have literally swapped parts and maintained the OEM quality finish!
