Default Brake Controller Harness

I’m looking to install a Tow Pro controller on my new P400. I’ve learned that there is a pre-wired brake controller cable under the far left dash. It’s said that the harness is a standard JLR part to go from the cable end to the controller. Parts guy at my dealer knows of nothing. I think the OEM connector also matches a Ford part. Does anyone know the correct fitment? Amazon has about four harness variations available.

Looks like I may have answered my own question in the Disco forum. Tekonsha 3035-P

Installed the REDARC TOW PRO elite today. Straight forward job, more a “Defender” issue than a harness issue. Hard part is removing the dummy switch plate in the dash. The Redarc TPH006 harness easily connects to the LR tow plug located at the top of the brake pedal, to the controller and then the supplied wire from controller to switch. Supplied switch and switch plate fits in the dummy switch under the interior light dimmer. Looks great and not obtrusive. Unfortunately, although I can still tie my shoes, working under the dash takes a more flexible body than I have. I’m OK with wrenches, ratchets, etc. but those plastic clips really intimidate me.

Difficult to find a dealer to install and most RV/camper shops are not used to new defenders, but they are out there. (Kind of weird because to come anywhere close to the advertised towing capacity you need a brake controller). I found a great one for $85.00.

PS there are a few you tubes out there but not many.
