It was $800 with my JLR dealer in New Rochelle. Excellent customer service and very high quality.

In Westchester County? Seems very reasonable especially for that area. Lol

Has anyone installed the gloss black front/rear bumpers from Powerful UK on a Carpathian Grey Defender? Does anyone have photos? I was getting quoted around $2,500 for painting (half that is a camera 'recalibration' the dealer apparently does after a body shop replaces the bumpers). Ideally I wanted to do the replacement myself... Many thanks!

Also wanted to add the wheel arch kit but not sure how this would look with gloss black on the front and back...

I really hate those silver lower bumpers

Default Corris Grey bumpers w Carpathian body?

Hi All,

Newbie to the board. I actually found my way here by Google leading me to this very thread. I hope I can get some of your knowledge and opinions. I just got a '23 Defender in Carpathian Grey (pic attached for reference). Gloss black wheels, blacked out hood nameplate, black grille crossbar, body-colored body panels. I'm itching to re-paint the bright silver bumpers. The body shop I visited had samples of Corris Grey, which I liked. I've seen comments that Shadow Atlas Grey is the factory LR color for Carpathian Edition models. Does anyone know how that compares to Corris grey? Also, has anyone re-painted the bumpers to body color on a Carpathian grey vehicle? I can't decide if that would look good or if it would be too much.

My previous vehicle was a Carpathian 2021 P400SE with the silver bumpers and matte plastic arches - I had my dealer paint the bumpers gloss black and had the arches/trim replaced with an OEM JLR gloss black kit. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every cent. I traded in for a 23.5MY P400X with the full black pack so no need to spend more money to get that look.

That looks great! I ordered a D110X in Silcon Silver with the extended black pack. I've already ordered the replacement hood letters in the satin finish they would've come in without the extended black pack. When the truck arrives I'm going to have the silver wrapped in satin PPF and the black wrapped in gloss PPF and have the satin letter put on to replace the black letters. I think the black hood and and black letters is too much as well?

I’m also partial to the contrast of the bumpers and bold letters against black. It makes it look more identifiable as a defender. In my case I ordered it with the now extinct “Bright Pack”
