Default Buying A 2021/2022 Defender

Hello everyone. Just wanted to ask all those 2020 and up Defender 110 P300 owners on your experience with your car? I am planning to buy a Defender here in Canada where it is constantly -20 to -45 in the winter. How has reliability been? How quiet is the car? And does it have an engine block heater? I’m willing to be part of you guys as owners of the Defender once I finalize my decisions!

The look of this Defender P300 sold me!

It's quiet up to 125-130 km/h, after that pillars and area above windshield are noisy..
Hasn't frozen it yet, not sure,
no block heater.
Wipers are so so.

Welcome to the forum. I’m located in Quebec, Canada and have a 2022 p300. It has been pretty reliable since day one - knock on wood . I have off road tires, so it’s tiny bit louder compared to regular tires. I find the sound insulation in the car to be pretty decent as well. No block heater, but never had any trouble starting it up at any temperature. Removing snow from the roof is a pain, just caz of the height. Overall I’m very pleased with the car and I hope you will be too. Hope this helps.

I just passed 83,000 miles with my 2021 p300. Has been very reliable and have spent quite a bit of time in Quebec and northern Ontario in the winter months. Haven’t had issues in the cold outside of a couple little squeaks and rattles inside the car, but those go away once it’s warmed up inside.

You people are answering questions asked 2 1/2 years ago by a guy who made 1 post and then either left (bought a Bronco), died (ordered a Cybertruck) or slipped into a coma (a CPO Toyota).
