Well, for sure that is way off. But I think I prefer the color you ended up with. Not as flashy while still showing customization. I dig what you have and wouldn't change a thing.

Went back today and they offered to redo them if I’m not happy, however I kind of like the more subtle color afterwards.
I will make the final decision once I pickup the car and see how it looks with the Satin PPF

Purple looks fine.

You could do your hair to match

I think I found more of these purple calipers. Gotta warn you, this is absolutely insane.

Pretty sure Rick Ross is their entire target market.

the reason I asked is they didn't removed the caliper and sprayed it like it is. to make it more professionally done, they either have to remove it or cover the studs or the bolt ends to look more oem.

I completely agreed, not sure why they didn’t cover the studs ahhhh
Do you think is a big asle to replace the studs, or not worth it?

First off, I will readily admit that I'm the rank amateur on this forum when it comes to painted calipers. I usually paint mine with various shades of mud, grime, dirt, or sand depending on my whimsy. So, my opinion is just someone walking by and looking at them. To me: they look great. It would be a BIG pita to replace them. It would also be real tricky and likely not worth the time to try to polish it off them. If you really don't like it, go ahead and have them painted to the exact shade you prefer and take care of removing the paint from the studs, too. However, they likely quoted you a cheaper price because they weren't planning on taking off the calipers. If I were the shop, I would agree the shade is off and would redo them for you. But you would pay the delta of what the full job (pulling calipers) and what I charged. It would be a nominal amount to you and a partial offset for me.

Good luck. I think they look good and hope you do, too, after the full wrap is done. Obviously: send Defender **** (I mean Pics) when it is done!

They should be able to mask the rest of the caliper off and walnut blast or soda blast the stud if it really bothers you. Paint would come right off.
