Please feel free to not reply if you don’t want, but out of curiosity what does a “wrap” like this cost? I love it.

The "satin" wrap is a Land Rover option and costs $4,900. I think you can get it cheaper, but the Defender is a large vehicle and isn't going to be cheap even through a "local shop". I think it is safe to say that the cost to wrap an SUV can range from $3,200 to $7,000, depending on the size and type of wrap.

New to this forum and catching up this thread and just want to share my caliper paint project with my wife's car..
Masking > Sand > Paint prep > Paint (2-3 coats) > Apply Sticker > Clear Coat.

Don't use any caliper paint guys who just use spray can for caliper paint.
If anyone is in OC or SoCal area, I can recommend this guy.

i wanted to add the “land rover wrap” only covers the body color paint, not gloss black parts. so not a full wrap. in Northern California for a above average complete ppf job it’s starts at 7000 upwards to 10,0000

I also have a 95B.3 Macan S (2023MY) and you matched the caliper color perfectly! The Guards Red calipers were standard on my S. I also have the same clear side markers, too! Looks much better on my Dolomite Silver Macan. How do you like your Macan? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears you have a T based on the grey mirrors.

Macan really drives like a sport sedan and size is easily manageable in busy city driving. I liked T with all built in options. PASM/Sport Steering Wheel/Sport Chrono and more rear biased TQ distribution. And more ofer, I really liked the pin striped interior that only available on T. 4 cyl. really made nose light so you can feel the quicker response that actually feel (unlike intake guys telling that they can feel the power...)

Overall it's quick enough for city duty but when I did 5-hours long distance driving (constant 90 mph+), I noticed lacking in power dept. But now I have long distance friendly Defender so it works out nicely (same 0-60 but 6 cyl. pulls more smoothly. Defender is super comfy in the lazy boy sized seats!

I agree that the base and T have better turn-in than the S and GTS thanks to the lighter engine, and it is definitely nice that all of the performance options are included on the T. PASM is also standard on the S, but I upgraded to the PASM air suspension. Does the T have a different default torque split than the rest of the lineup? I thought they all send 85% to the rear under normal driving conditions and of course adjusts accordingly. I also have Sport Chrono as well as the PTV+ rear e-diff.

The I4 is plenty adequate in the Macan, but the S is sports car quick. 0-60 in 3.8 seconds according to Car & Driver. The seats in the T are the same design as the 18-way seats I have in mine, just without all of the adjustment, and I agree that they are on the aggressive side, especially on long trips. The Defender's seats are firm, but supportive, and better for long-distance. I still go a little numb after about four hours in the Defender, though.

Default Blue Calipers

Just came across this thread.
This is one of many that we've done as close as possible to replicate the blue. After searching through alot of swatches, we went with Mopar B5 Blue to achieve a more anodized look. Hardware and pads were removed, pistons masked off, rotors, suspension and full vehicle masked off and calipers painted with all custom made-to-order PPG automotive 1k primer, 1k paint, applied decals and sealed them in 2k clear.

Looks great! The B5 Blue is very close to the OEM Xenon Blue calipers. Well done!
