Am going to the large side of Land Rover world. Trading in the 110 for a V8 Range Rover. The 110 has been flawless through 24k miles, but I need a change of pace and the RR will be better suited to long distance road trips. Thanks everyone for a great forum! Shameless plug: have put the OCTA wheels and tires up for sale in the marketplace section of the forum. Happy trails…
I own the same 110 V8 (2026) and I also own a 2025 RR V8 7-seater (P530 SE) and I can tell you they are very different cars. Familiar PiviPro. but the RR is a lot heavier and it really floats a lot more than the Defender. If you buy a brand new L460 take it easy on the brakes in the first 600mi or so as the pads won't be seated properly yet. You need a lot of distance to stop this heavy monster. But you'll be very pleased with the ride quality, quietness and the sheer feel of sophistication. GAP tool is a good idea as I was able to turn off the fake engine sound in the car as well as the annoying seat bell chime reminder and have the car remember the last state of the start/stop engine ultra annoying 'feature'. No hard buttons for anything but I got used to the screen interface after a while, no problem. You'll also notice the steering wheel is giant. I think they could have made it a little smaller diameter, or made it thicker so it doesn't feel like a 1970's Cadillac...

Can’t go wrong with the Range Rover. Don’t get me wrong, I love Defender, but the L460 is arguably one of the best cars in the world. There’s a reason the Range Rover has, and always will be the end-all, be-all SUV. I’m not ashamed to admit that it’s better than the Defender in most aspects. You’ll love it!

This is none of my business and probably crazy talk, but since you still have them.... Might as well see what those beautiful Octa rims look and feel like on the new RR!
