Default Cat shields

Greetings ... I searched for days, but I could not find this info: are there any catalytic converter shields out there for Defender 110 ? Apparently not many manufacturers even intrested in doing it. Any sugestions are appreciated.
Thanks !

Are you referring to an anti-theft device? If so, haven’t seen a specific device but there are many generic solutions out there. Some have had a shop spot weld a piece of aircraft cable longitudinally from the exhaust pipe entering the cat to where it exits to prevent the sawzall extraction. For now, my protection is my motion activated camera system and a baseball bat applied to the knees of any legs protruding from the underbody. And backed up by my Sig-Sauer 9mm if they decide to fight back.

Thanks, I've seen them, but they're more redneck than I can digest.
Also, at the dealership they will probably throw a party, to make my antitheft system the cause of all evil, to to void the warranty.
I saw converts stolen at the mall parking lot, where I have no control really...
Yes, I like the 9mm and the Louisville Slugger, but do I really want to go that far if I catch them?
I've talked to several shield manufacturers (some great examples are the Toyota 4Runner) and they asked: , can you give us the anchor points/holes and we see if we can create out one?
I don't even know where to start. .
There is a company in Germany that sells underbody protection - more like complete underbody protection, but I can't find it anymore and I don't remember the name of the company .
If anyone can point me in this direction, I would appreciate it in advance.

I can't seem to find the source, but New Defender Mods sells Offroad Development full under shield. https://newdefendermods.com/collecti...ection-package However it'd be expensive to ship to the US.

Also @sarek does a full under shield kit too.

Of course, no one wants an encounter with a thief, and I spoke about the 9mm and baseball bat tongue in cheek, although I wouldn’t hesitate to whack someone in the knees to protect my personal property. The 9mm only comes into play if I feel my safety is threatened. However, just saw a video of a guy whose van had been targeted several times, losing thousands of dollars of equipment that he uses for work and putting him out of business for weeks at a time. Until one night his camera alerted him to activity in his driveway. Going out to check, he grabbed a bat and when he saw a guys legs sticking out just couldn’t put up with it anymore and started swinging at the legs. The perp starts screaming, runs like a frightened little girl, leaving behind his sawzall and bicycle. Maybe he thwarted future losses and taught this guy a lesson he won’t soon forget. Good luck with your attempt at theft prevention.

@tbrown - thank you for the link. I did contact them to see if they can do a "cut out" just for the converters. Yes, that under-shield is awesome, but a bit rich for me.
@WTFChuck - I was kidding too .... encountering one of those guys would be too much paperwork afterwards .... - I remember the antitheft from the old Citroën DS, where the car lowered itself to a couple of inches from the ground as an antitheft device. I wish something similar would be available today, but ... oh well.

Like the idea of a car lowering itself. Now if it could be set to lower itself when it senses someone cutting your catalytic converter. THAT would be poetic justice.

Just move to Texas. There's not much of a market for Catalytic Converter Recycling. /s

If you have one you want to recycle, you can just go to any one of these convenient locations! Link.
