For what it’s worth, I experience this quite a bit (especially when going through a section of road that has signal corruption) and have found that if I map the multi-use button to turn the display off and on again it will fix things in the moment without having to do a Pivi reset.

Use the right arrow button on the left side of the steering wheel controls to skip the current song in Spotify. Top tip if you're stuck listening to baby shark doo do do do dooo and the screen goes blank!

I had this issue a few months ago - center screen went blank - took it into my dealer and it got resolved - I was told its the Pivi Pro software doesnt play nice with Carplay/Waze and wants you to use Google Maps (or the JLR navigation which is powered by Google) and shuts down the center screen.

I went immediately back to using Waze and havent had the issue return.

+1 on this issue has happened about once a month on my 2024 P400 since new. Just got a software update will see if that resolved the issue. Its totally unrelated to heat / temperature.
