Idk. Dropping the headliner is a real PITA in most cars. Looks like the roof pod has antennas for 5 systems, sat radio, gps, telematics, and cell. Seems like they would all have to be matched to the vehicle configuration. Service manual makes it look like a mini nightmare.

Oh... I am not even going to attempt dropping the headliner. I just want to see first what is the "pain" point in the chain.
It is more of a research, than fixing a JLR issue. That is why I want to buy the set, to test it on a bench...end to end.
Then, I can (a) take it to JLR [ insert big laugh from JLR], (b) attempt an independent shop to swap it out for me when and if I find a camera that can be adapted into the system / chain. I am under no illusion that this will be quick and easy.
It is more that I am stunned of the bad quality, I mean even for JLR, and the fact that I was told by the dealership that this is "no fault".
Anyways, I am moving forward - slow, and steady, like a heard of snails in peanut butter field.

The peanut butter just got thicker. It looks like it might require diagnostic equipment to set it up. These trucks are far too complicated.
