they can retrofit anything you want. Buy the hardware get it installed, find a friendly dealership or an Indy shop with a pathfinder download and the new pathfinder friendly tool, and the above company will turn it on. Please don’t ask me questions direct them to the above company. Have fun.
I can't find anywhere that states wireless charging is part of that package. The 2020 Defender S that I test drove had wireless charging and car play and the sticker showed that it had the Comfort and Convenience Pack but does not list that functionality (it lists premium cabin lighting, console fridge and meridian sound).
My dealer has no idea if CarPlay and Qi charging are standard because they only ever order fully loaded models.
Can anyone with a base model Defender confirm they have wireless charging (nice to have for me) and CarPlay (must have)?
I have a Base Model 2021 Defender 90.........here's my Window Sticker.........came with both Apple Car Play (need cable) and Wireless Charging.
Your assumption is correct The attached image is of the spec change bulletin that my dealer received here. As you see there the Premium Cabin Lighting (064LC) was a paid option in 21 MY but a Standard option in 22MY (mine is a X-Dynamic HSE). Well I cannot validate until I see one first hand, my dealership has one arriving soon they said and I would go over to see it in person.
Interesting. I dont have the order guide for Australia, but trying to a build an HSE on the online configurator there is an option to have the premium cabin lighting included. Do you have a copy of your full vista order? It will show what options are included on the last couple pages as part of the standard features for the build.
There are alot of variances between locations in terms of what is standard and what is not. I think that has caused some confusion for the people who have been putting together the various marketing brochures and ordering documents. The US ordering guide has several errors I have identified. Its mostly the highly detailed consumers who are finding the inconsistencies as the dealers dont concern themselves with that high level of variance nuance.
@Moretti this is a snip of what my dealer sent me. I’ll ask them for a full vista order today.
The configurator for Australia hasn’t yet been updated, I still see HSE listed on the non x dynamic range. The MY22 change was around the time I ordered, so yea I have to accept I ordered with very limited or otherwise conflicting information.
My vista order has three pages that break down all the specifics of what is in the vehicle. If there are options that are not standard for the build it says "Less" before the item. Here is what it shows on mine. FWIW Premium cabin lighting comes standard with my build without the package.

Interestingly, mine doesn’t state the codes but does say “less” in options that are not available. Funny how the doc format is different thought both are from JLR.
If anyone has found a fridge retrofit diy kit, please share.
There aren't any replies to the other thread on a Fridge retrofit but from what I can put together, you would need the replacement part like the one HERE or HERE then you may need some additional computer work done by someone like this: L663 - Defender (lr-retrofits.co.uk)
If you disassemble the center console on a 'non-fridge' version, are there power wires there? Seems like they would put the same loom in and just leave the connection blank if you didn't opt for the fridge but I may be wrong about that.
